Inauguration of KIMS Hospitals' Institute of Neurosciences & Neuromodulation Centre

A proud and defining moment for KIMS Hospitals, Mahadevapura as we inaugurated the Institute of Neurosciences and the Centre of Excellence in Neuromodulation—bringing advanced, technology-driven neurological care closer to patients.

We were deeply honored by the presence of our Chief Guest Mr. Prashanth Prakash, along with our esteemed Guests of Honour Dr. Nandakumar Jairam, Dr. H. V. Srinivas, Dr. Balaji Pai, Ms. Kala Krishnaswamy, and Ms. Bhavana Rao, whose insights and encouragement made this occasion truly special.With this launch, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centric neurological care.

Adapt or Closed Loop DBS India

We have introduced Adaptive Deep Brain Stimulation (aDBS) at our center — an advanced therapy for Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. Unlike conventional DBS, aDBS adjusts stimulation in real time using the patient’s brain signals, allowing more precise and personalized treatment.

Led by Dr. Guruprasad Hosurkar, this technology aims to improve symptom control while reducing side effects and enhancing therapy efficiency.
